Michel Mutambayi
Tour Guide

Hi!  I'm Michel Mutambayi.  I'm a qualified and registered South African national tour guide with a South African professional driving permit.

I speak fluently with full knowledge of the following: English, French and Swahili.  I am currently studying German and Portuguese through International Language School. I am also studying consumer science with specialization in hospitality through University of South Africa (Unisa).

Trained as silver service provider first, I have worked as a waiter, barmen and head barmen, head waiter and bar manager for the following prestigious companies:

Since 2003 until now I have been working as a guest house manager in charge of marketing and general management.

After developing a love for the industry, I founded HandSource where I recruited, disadvantaged men & women from the street including refugees and the unemployed, personally trained them in my flat, 15 at the time, and showed them how to serve food and wine.  In 2002 with a group of 80 people we serviced the entire World Summit on sustainable development in Johannesburg.  My HandsSurce staffing company serviced large contracts for Armar Executive Catering and Europa Special Occasion.

My exposure includes MNET's Big Brother, various embassies and political events, as well as numerous restaurants, hotels and corporate assignments.

Service is my passion and providing service solutions is my pride.
